Emily Atack says Paul McCartney ‘is family and I ran around his house in nappies’
Emily Atack has reviewed how she would go around Sir Paul McCartney’s home “in my nappy.”
The 31-year-old group commander on Keith Lemon’s Celebrity Juice, has said that Sir Paul was near her grandmother and being first cousins, he was consistently at family occasions when Emily was growing up.
Previous I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! most loved Emily talked about her association with the incredible Beatle on The Jonathan Ross Show Christmas Show, where she was joined by The Chase have Bradley Walsh, among others.
Emily told the 60-year-old talk show host: “He’s my grandma’s first cousin. To me he’s a third cousin or something like that.
“I’m pretty sure he doesn’t go around bragging that he’s my cousin.”
She continued: “He was very close to my grandma. He was present in my childhood. He’s a family man, he’s wonderful. I remember running around in my nappy in his house.”
Emily also told Jonathan that being on his show was a childhood dream come true, as she had ‘played’ at being interviewed by him when she was a child.
Emily said: “This is like the best moment of my life. When I was a child I used to say to my mum, ‘Can we play Jonathan Ross now?’”
She continued: “I’d go up, put her heels on, put a cloak on, go downstairs and I’d come downstairs and my mum and dad would interview me as though I was on Jonathan Ross.
“They were like, can’t you just play Monopoly like a normal child? I was about 5 or 6.”
Emily added: “They’d say, ‘What have you been up to today?’ I’d say, ‘I’ve been in the sandpits, just playing kiss chase with the boys.’ I don’t think it’s going to be much different to be honest.”
